The performance venues for Ancient Spirit have included various Oklahoma City country clubs such as Gaillardia, Oak Tree, The Greens and Quail Creek. They have also performed at many art and music festivals including the Tom Mix Festival in Guthrie, OK; Wintertales, Festival of the Arts and Opening Night in Oklahoma City; the German-American Oktoberfest Concert in Shawnee, OK; the Crystal Bridge at Oklahoma City's Botanical Gardens; the Texas Accordion Association National Convention in Plano, TX and the Accordionist and Teachers Guild festival in Branson, MO. Their restaurant venues include the Strater Hotel in Durango, CO; the Cellar Cafe, Ingrid's Kitchen and Keller in the Kastle in Oklahoma City; from 1996 to 2006, Royal Bavaria Brewery and Restaurant in Moore, Oklahoma. We occasionally provide music in Leadership Square and Oklahoma Tower in downtown Oklahoma City.![]() | As a child, Martha Stuart was a violin prodigy. She plays mandolin, guitar, violin/fiddle, mandola, bazouki, autoharp, flute, tenor banjo, and pennywhistle, and is a music composer and arranger. | Jackie Cook plays accordion, keyboard, 5-string banjo, harp, flute and pennywhistle, and is also a music composer and arranger. She creates all of the background music for the duo through a process known as "music sequencing". | ||
