As a child, Martha Stuart
was a violin prodigy. She
plays mandolin, guitar, violin/fiddle,
mandola, bazouki, autoharp, flute,
tenor banjo, and pennywhistle, and is a music
composer and arranger. In the
1960s, she was lead guitarist with
a well known Oklahoma City band
known as the "Catalinas".

Jackie Cook plays accordion, keyboard,
5-string banjo, harp, flute and pennywhistle, and
is also a music composer and arranger.
She creates all of the background music
for the duo through a process known
as "music sequencing".
